Personalized treatment. I was here for over a week and found it very helpful. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that they set me up with a counselor after discharge to make sure that everything achieved during that week was maintained.
I don't think they have stregths Weakness in all areas Should be reevaluated.
Overall a great, much needed, life-changing experience for me. When I finally got myself to go my mental health was fading fast and that was my last hope. My only regret is not going sooner. Some details for someone planning to go: don’t bring anything you really like or would miss, because sadly the staff will steal it. I had a brand new expensive perfume as a gift that had to be locked in the basement in my suitcase with a few other things that weren’t allowed in- the day I left when I got my things back the bottle was empty and the cap was cracked and rolling around my bag. Many girls reported their cigarettes being stolen by the carton- which was evident because staff and patients sign in each and every item together. A few ladies had makeup stolen or tampered with. Anyway theft was reported a dozen times with no answer or reimbursement to any of the girls. Food is great, full time chef who’s super sweet and accommodating. Portions are generous, prepare to eat- a lot! The bedrooms are clean and bright and put you at ease. There is NO doctor on site, so if you come without something you need, forget it. Make sure you consider that before you go. There are onsite clinicians but the one I had seemed unqualified and unprofessional and they rarely see you anyway. Once a week. Sue is one special person. She yhas been there the longest of the on site staff and will touch your heart somehow, she was the most influential for me. This place will bring structure and faith back into your life, would recommend to anyone who needs.
Inpatient facilities for addiction treatment will house patients onsite for the duration of the treatment program. These types of treatment programs may be best for people with more severe substance use disorders and those who would benefit from around-the-clock support.
During their stay, patients will follow a structured treatment schedule including various types of group and individual therapies. The length of these programs varies but typically lasts several weeks or a few months, although some rehabs in Maine offer long-term programs that last for several months.
An outpatient rehab in Maine may be a good setting for recovery for people with less severe addictions or those already further along in the recovery process. Because patients do not live on-site, they can often attend school or work.
Outpatient addiction treatment programs can vary greatly. Some programs may require patients to attend treatment for an hour each week, while a more intensive program may require patients to attend treatment for several hours each day. During treatment, patients may work one-on-one with staff members or partake in support groups depending on their specific treatment plan. Some programs may also offer family therapy or holistic treatment options.
Luxury rehabs in Maine are treatment centers may be a good fit for patients looking for higher-end amenities and additional perks. Most of these treatment centers will house patients in private rooms and have upscale facilities on-site such as a first-class business center and spa. These programs also tend to have extra amenities such as housekeeping, fine dining, and massage services.
Although not always necessary, detox can be an important first step in recovery for some patients. But it is important to know that the detox process can sometimes cause unpleasant and even dangerous withdrawal symptoms. To help ensure safety, a Maine detox center will monitor patients’ withdrawal symptoms and address any concerns as they arise. During medical detoxification, patients may also be prescribed medications to ease symptoms and decrease cravings.
While most drug rehabs in Maine will address mental health to some extent, a dual diagnosis treatment center can treat both substance use disorders and mental health disorders at the same time. With these programs, patients struggling with co-occurring disorders can work with addiction and mental health professionals to address the root causes of their struggles as well as how they may be connected. This integrated approach to care may increase a person’s chance of finding lasting success in addiction recovery.
The cost of treatment will depend on several factors including the type of facility, the treatment program, and more. While some addiction treatment in Maine may seem out of reach initially because of cost, there are several ways to cover the expense without paying strictly out of pocket.
Per the Affordable Care Act, treatment for mental health and substance use disorders must be covered to some extent, although the amount covered will depend on your policy. Most drug treatment centers in Maine will accept insurance from private health insurance providers that they are in-network with. Many treatment centers will also work with you to find a solution to cover any outstanding costs that insurance doesn’t cover. Sliding scale payment options and payment plans are two of the ways private facilities try to make treatment more affordable. Other ways to pay for addiction treatment may include loans or financial help from friends and family.
Options for low-cost and sometimes free addiction treatment in Maine can also include going to a state-funded treatment center as well as taking advantage of local addiction resources or public health insurance. MaineCare, also known as Maine’s Medicaid program, and Medicare can be a low-cost alternative to private health insurance. These insurance providers tend to be less readily accepted by private treatment centers but have helped numerous residents get addiction care. In 2020, over 30,000 residents submitted MaineCare claims for substance use disorder treatment or got treatment funded through OBH grant programs.
