I attended Clearview\'s dual diagnosis over the past four months. I have borderline personality disorder and addiction. My experience at Clearview was positive, the therapists are intelligent, skillful and understanding. The staff was absolutely amazing they made me feel welcome, comfortable and valued. Many things I haven\'t felt in years. Overall a life changing experience. My one and only issue I had while at Clearview was the clinical director. My interactions with her were negative enough that if I had known about her going into Clearview I would have chosen to go somewhere else. She is NOT someone who would be working with people that struggle with mental health issues, period. I was constantly belittled, disrespected and invalidated. I never felt safe and I never felt like she wanted to benefit the clients. I also noticed her negative influence in the staff, which made them tense and afraid of every move they made in fear of being fired. which ultimately affected the clients. I had expressed my feelings towards her and was met with a cold response. Like I said I had a great experience at Clearview and will forever be grateful, but it could have been exponentially better if that woman was not the clinical director.
